Question ::: What is the difference between turtle and tortoise???

 Both of them mean "turtle". But there is a big difference between these two turtles.

 The difference is that the top shell of the tortoise is large and dome-shaped, while the shell of the turtle is small.
 Another difference is that a tortoise can weigh anywhere from 200 to 500 pounds, while a turtle can weigh up to 300 pounds.

 A big difference is that Tortoise is a land turtle and it does not live in water but uses water for drinking and bathing etc. whereas turtle is a turtle that lives in water.

 Apart from these there are many more differences but I have told you only three differences.

 You can see the picture of both of them so that it is easy to understand.
